Who: Justine Cameron and Rowan Barnes

Where: Sanctuary Cove, Queensland

WHEN Rowan proposed in September 2006 it wasn't a surprise for Justine. In fact, she had been expecting it for quite some time.

"I spent a couple of months getting excited every time we went anywhere together, thinking he was going to propose," Justine says.

It wasn't due to any clairvoyant qualities that Justine predicted the proposal, but because her mother couldn't keep a secret.

"After Rowan asked my parents for my hand in marriage in July, my mum got so excited that she told me and we celebrated together that afternoon with my family," Justine says.

The couple met in 2005 at a mutual friend's lawn bowls birthday celebration. Justine noticed Rowan straightaway because he was tall, handsome and wearing aviator sunglasses.

"He now teases me that I liked the sunglasses because I could see myself in them," Justine says.

Despite her initial attraction towards Rowan, Justine wasn't sure if he felt the same way. "Although I was interested in Rowan I didn't know that he was interested in me," she says.

But that afternoon Rowan asked Justine out to dinner, and the pair connected immediately.

"We had so much fun together and were both so happy in each other's company that we quickly fell in love," Justine says.

Their wedding celebrations took place over four days and included a trip to Dreamworld and a recovery day at Justine's parents' place in Sanctuary Cove.

Justine and Rowan exchanged vows in front of more than 100 family and friends before taking their honeymoon in Malaysia.

Where A garden reception at Pittwater.

When John and Jacki met in 2003 they knew they could make beautiful music together. The jazz singer and the drummer met while playing gigs at various venues in Sydney.
